Ready for automatic tending with AutoTend

The compact design allows for easy installation of AutoTend, a robotic system for automatic tending of eggs and fry. This increases efficiency and significantly reduces the need for manual work.

With CompHatch, you achieve up to 85% better space efficiency than traditional hatching systems, while reducing water consumption by 50%. Lower water consumption also means lower energy costs for heating and cooling. The ergonomic design and the option to work from a platform provide better working conditions and increased safety.

Optimal conditions for eggs and fry

Each hatching tray has its own water inlet with a flow meter, ensuring individual and optimal water flow. The EasyHatch substrate provides good support for the fry and ensures stable and healthy hatching conditions.

Studies from the Institute of Aquaculture and SINTEF show that CompHatch with EasyHatch delivers up to 21% lower mortality than traditional substrates and at least 33% higher capacity without negatively affecting survival or growth. Practical details and additional equipment

CompHatch consists of 8 levels with 2 hatching trays each, with a total capacity of 360,000 eggs or fry per unit. The system takes up minimal space, and water consumption ranges between 64 and 128 liters per minute. Working conditions can be further improved with the WorkLift AM35, a battery-powered work platform that provides safe and efficient access to the hatching cabinets. Specially designed lightproof covers protect eggs and fry from unwanted light.
